Our Cosmic lateral unit is capable of a variety of functions including water jetting and televising branch drains.

The main function is the preparation and installation of Cosmic Top Hat seals.

The Top Hat Seals are installed with the use of an inverting inflatable packer. The packer contains a number of UV lamps.

The Top Hats and fiberglass (GRP) not felt and are incredibly strong. They are impregnated with UV resin in a factory controlled environment. An epoxy sealant is used to provide the bond between the liner or host pipe and the branch drain.

When in position, the packer is inflated and the UV lights cure the resin. The curing process takes only 7 minutes so the branch drain is only blocked off for a very short period.
